Learn How to Do it!With the Nationals in the neighborhood this year, maybe it’s time to pick up a few pointers on the ins and outs, ups and downs of cyclocross!
Come to Livermore for the annual East Bay Cyclocross Clinic…
When: Saturday, October 2, 1999
What Time: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Robertson Park, Livermore
Directions: Take Hwy 580 to the Livermore Avenue exit in Livermore and go south 2 1/2 miles (through town). Turn right at Wente Ave (at the baseball diamonds) and then right again into the park, follow signs
How Much: $15 (includes lunch at local pizza joint)
What to Bring: Bike, helmet, equipment/clothing, ability to listen and ask questions.
What goes on: Lecture, questions/answers, equipment inspection, off and on bike demonstrations and practice, videotape of ‘cross (during lunch)
Who’s Invited: Anyone who’d like to learn about ‘cross. This is an introductory clinic, but those who have ridden ‘cross before can still find it valuable.
