Calendar note: Race locations are subject

Call promoters the week before to confirm.
License note: Nearly all NorCal
'cross races are held under NCNCA
insurance, which requires no license to race.
Important exceptions: Super
Cup, Nationals, and maybe Districts
require a USA Cycling license (USCF, NORBA, NBL, USPRO etc.)
If you don't have a license you can probably buy one at the race, or
click here.
Equipment note: Mountain bikes
may not be allowed in UCI events (Elite Men,
Espoir, Women) at the national Super Cup races; MTBs OK in non-elite
categories.
(Specifically, bikes must have drop bars and 35mm or narrower tires.)
So far, it sounds like MTBs will be allowed at the National
Championships.
